Black or White was a movie that was geared toward a Caucasian teenage girl and an African American male who dated, and produce a child. Elliott, the father was not thrilled of the idea of his daughter dating a black man. Elliott is no plaster saint. He’s a Baby boomer who probably considered himself race-blind until his daughter started sleeping with Reggie and ended up bearing his child.

What’s supposed to be a movie about what’s best for Eloise is an opportunity for the adult characters to preen about their righteousness and learn supposedly important lessons.
